Hezbollah fighters fired anti-tank missiles on Israeli army positions and Israeli troops shelled border areas on the Lebanese side of the border.Israel and Hezbollah are bitter enemies that fought a monthlong war in the summer of 2006 that ended in a draw. Israel considers the Iran-backed Shiite militant group its most serious immediate threat, estimating that Hezbollah has some 150,000 rockets and missiles aimed at Israel. There are concerns that the powerful Iran-backed Hezbollah could join the war with Israel and earlier this month, President Joe Biden warned other players in the Middle East not to join the conflict and has sent American warships to the region and vowed full support for Israel.Hezbollah legislator Hassan Fadlallah said Sunday that the group is ready for all possibilities adding, “we don’t want to reveal what the next step is.” He said Hezbollah’s next step “is tied to what is going on in Gaza.”French Foreign Minister Catherine Colonna arrived in Beirut where she will meet officials to discuss border tensions.Lebanon’s caretaker Prime Minister Najib Mikati said the country’s politically-paralyzed government has been scrambling to ease tensions along its southern border with Israel and avoid dragging the tiny country into a new war.Earlier Monday, the Israeli military ordered people living in 28 communities near the Lebanese border to evacuate. The military order affects communities that are within 2 kilometers (1.2 miles) of the border.Hezbollah has said the increased strikes were a warning and don't mean the group has decided to go to war.The World Health Organization said Monday it has sent two shipments of medical supplies to Beirut in preparation for potential escalation along the Lebanon-Israel border.。    Actor Akshay Oberoi has officially confirmed his involvement in Shah Rukh Khan’s much-anticipated magnum opus King, directed by Siddharth Anand. The film, which marks a collaboration between Shah Rukh Khan and his daughter Suhana Khan, has already become one of the most buzzed-about projects in Bollywood. This marks Akshay’s third collaboration with director Siddharth Anand post Fighter and their OTT series, Flesh.          Expressing his excitement, the actor said, "It’s a dream come true, my checklist is complete now that I’ve got the chance to work in a King Khan film and share screen space with him. Growing up, Shah Rukh Khan has been one of my biggest inspirations not just as an actor, but as someone who redefined charisma and hard work in Indian cinema. To be a part of a film that stars him feels surreal. I’ve admired his discipline, his energy, and his generosity as a performer for years, and to finally experience that in person is something I’ll always cherish. Also, Sid and Mamta are like family to me now in this industry and when Siddharth called me to be part of this magnum opus, I had to jump in and immediately said yes. My association with them is truly special. I’m soaking in every moment and learning as much as I can from him on set."     With King, Akshay joins a stellar ensemble in what promises to be one of the biggest cinematic events of the year.     Meanwhile, Shah Rukh Khan's look from the film was released on this birthday this month. Apart from his much talked about salt-and-pepper look, fans were particularly impressed by the production' scale. Reportedly, the filmmakers are working hard to ensure King is produced on a lavish scale, aiming to provide viewers with the experience of a truly global action film.          According to a report in Bollywood Hungama, the production cost of King is approximately Rs 350 crores, positioning it as one of the most expensive action films to be coming from an Indian production.     The film also stars Abhishek Bachchan, Deepika Padukone, Rani Mukerji, Abhay Verma, Raghav Juyal, Jaideep Ahlawat, Arshad Warsi, and Saurabh Shukla among others.       Also Read: Actor Ram Pothineni Praises His Andhra King Taluka Director。
